Information collected during a notarization

Texas law requires notaries to keep a record of certain notarial acts. For remote online notarizations, Texas law requires that the audio-visual recording of the session be retained.

These records are maintained as required by the Texas Government Code and are not used for marketing.

Notary records and remote online notarization recordings are retained for the period required by Texas law. Contact and appointment records are retained for as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, after which they are securely deleted.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission on our website, access-controlled software platforms, and secure storage of notary records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. Note that notary journal entries and RON recordings cannot be deleted on request, as Texas law requires their retention.
