Common Questions
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID — a Texas driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID all work. Bring the complete document, unsigned. Do not sign anything before we arrive; the signature has to happen in front of the notary. If your document requires witnesses, let us know when you book so we can arrange them.
How much does a mobile notary cost in Fort Worth?
Texas sets the notarial act itself at $10 for the first signature and $1 for each additional signature. On top of that, a mobile appointment carries a travel fee starting at $35 within 10 miles. So a typical single-document mobile appointment runs about $45. Full pricing is listed above, and we confirm the total before your appointment — no surprises.

What is remote online notarization, and is it legal in Texas?
Remote online notarization (RON) lets you notarize documents over a secure video session instead of meeting in person. Texas has authorized it since 2018, and LaShawn is a commissioned Texas Remote Online Notary. You will need a valid photo ID and a device with a camera. Sessions run $35 and typically take under 30 minutes.

Can you visit a hospital or nursing home?
Yes, and we do it regularly. Bedside notarizations require patience and discretion, and we plan extra time for facility check-in procedures. The signer must be alert, aware of what they are signing, and able to communicate their intent directly to us. Please confirm the facility permits outside notaries before booking.
